Organization Description

Anahuacalmecac is dedicated to student academic excellence, Native wisdom, an appreciation of the cultural and intellectual heritage of indigenous peoples and the promotion of positive social awareness. We consciously strive to provide students effective and comprehensive pedagogy through a globally inclusive curriculum within a positive, supportive learning environment involving students, teachers, parents and staff.

 

Programs and Services Offered:

We offer an A-G curriculum for our high school students, varying clubs of different interests: medical club, running club, teen court, generation green, art club, model UN, high school basketball, nutrition club, garden club, gay straight alliance, newspaper club, syfy club, hip hip hop club, folklorico club, science club, photography club, anime club, and danza Azteca. Our school provides counseling to students during and after school, and we link our students to outside agencies for resources.
