Opportunity Summary 

Student Intern will lead the animal section in the K-12 BioTrek tours on Tuesday/Thursday (10am-12pm). Other responsibilities include, helping student assistants with animal cage cleaning, extra daily duties in vivarium, and maintain a clean and organized space at the cpp vivarium.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate information about our animals to diverse audiences. Students will gain in depth knowledge about various animal species, their habits, behaviors and the proper skills for animal care of diverse reptile and amphibian species.

Opportunity Training 

animal safety training, emergency action plan training, proper use of equipment and tools training
