Opportunity Summary 

PVHMC's College Volunteer services offers college students an opportunity to receive health care experience from the hospital ands community perspective. Being able to visualize your communities healthcare staff and people who need c are provide students the experience of the hospital setting.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of this experience students will have gained an understanding of the serval working parts and multiple disciplines that it takes to provide efficient and effective healthcare throughout a hospital.

Opportunity Training 

An array of pre-volunteer documents will be completed in addition to an examination of volunteer safety and general information. Students will receive one-on-one training from current volunteers until they feel prepared to perform duties own their own.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

We provide an Environment of CARE quiz must be completed every year. This quiz reaffirms our safety guidelines.
