Opportunity Summary
During the Spring '24 semester, Cal Poly CIS faculty and students developed a comprehensive technology plan for the Semillas Community Center in Pomona. In this Fall'24 period, interns will work closely with CIS faculty to build-out the infrastructure set forth in this plan. the result will be a new technology center that serves low-income residents in the city center of Pomona.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Receiving instructions from faculty, students will install key equipment and networks required to create a new technology center.
Opportunity Training
Students will work directly with Cal Poly faculty to implement a technology plan for the community center.
