Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn the art of assessments, patient care, emotional and spiritual support needed with this vulnerable population. Students will learn case management and how to obtain community resources and how to navigate the social work realm of providing quality care for patients and families.

Opportunity Training 

Volunteer training in-person and online. Direct training with a MSW in the field as shadowing and assessing.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

We provide any necessary PPE for any visits if necessary. We provide the necessary safety training for office evacuation in case of a disaster, earthquake and active shooter.
