Test Technician InternAt — Shinkei Systems
This role is essential to building high-quality datasets and ensuring the robot performs reliably across a wide range of species and conditions. You will be working in our test lab handling live and dead fish, preparing materials for tests, running test procedures alongside engineers, and cleaning and resetting the lab afterward. This is a physical, fast-paced, and highly collaborative role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants exposure to real-world system development. In addition to your core lab responsibilities, you’ll also have the chance to pursue project(s) aligned with your academic interests or major. Our team includes experts in machine vision, software development, mechanical/electrical engineering, operations, logistics, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and quality (just to name a few!). Interns are encouraged to choose a meaningful project in one of these areas, supported by a mentor, that will contribute real value to the business.

Demonstration and/or prepared written and/or audio/visual materials for each specific task. Guidance will be provided for tasks with more creative freedom.
Interns are provided all necessary PPP for task which require it. This is typically fish handling and some light manufacturing/building tasks.
