Social Work InternAt — Reviviscence Clinical Services
During this internship at Reviviscence Clinical Services, the social work intern will learn foundational social work practice within a psychotherapy setting while operating within an appropriate non clinical role. Training emphasizes ethical responsibility, professional boundaries, and the social worker’s function within mental health services. The intern will observe and support client engagement processes, psychosocial information gathering, resource coordination, and documentation practices. Learning includes trauma aware perspectives, understanding grief and loss, and recognizing how stress and relational challenges affect functioning. Supervision will focus on reflective practice, use of self, cultural responsiveness, and professional communication. The intern will also gain exposure to safety awareness, mandated reporting requirements, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
