Opportunity Summary
With a comprehensive team of therapists, in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, students will have the opportunities to observe various treatments and therapeutic approaches for patients with range of diagnoses, while also offering guidance to undecided students in determining their career path.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
By the end of this opportunity, students will learn the difference between all three disciplines of rehabilitation.
Opportunity Training
Student is only allowed to observe daily therapy routines and treatments being provided to patients by PT, OT and ST if needed.
Additional risk specific to this opportunity
Students will have to comply with all the required tests (physical, TB tests, CPR), masking, gowning and all precautionary measures required when seeing specific patients.
