Opportunity Summary 

CPP students will participate in the advanced development of a novel care management software platform. Daily tasks include: • Assist with software quality assurance (QA) activities, including test case execution, documentation of defects, and validation of fixes • Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities such as policy documentation, control mapping, and organizing audit evidence including supporting audit activity. • Support pre-production cloud monitoring, including dashboard build-out, metric validation, and documentation of system and system behavior • Participate in team stand-ups, reviews, and mentoring sessions led by designated Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

• Gain hands-on experience with healthcare IT systems supporting Enhanced Care Management (ECM) • Understand regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST 800-171, SOC 2, and ADA accessibility requirements • Learn software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including testing, validation, and documentation • Develop professional skills in technical communication, teamwork, and applied problem-solving • Experience how compliance, security, and quality assurance intersect in a production healthcare environment
