Physical Therapy AideAt — Dynamic Therapies, Inc.
Student will have the opportunity to gain practical, entry-level experience in a physical therapy setting while supporting licensed physical therapists. Student will learn day-to-day operations of a therapy clinic, including patient flow, treatment area setup, and basic administrative tasks. Under supervision, interns will assist with non-duties such as preparing and cleaning equipment, maintaining an organized treatment environment, and supporting patients' readiness for therapy sessions. This opportunity emphasizes observation, professionalism, and foundational clinic support skills, offering valuable exposure to patient care and rehabilitation practices.
Demonstrate an understanding of daily clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling support, and general workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment in accordance with clinic and infection control standards. Properly setup, break down, and sanitize therapy equipment and treatment areas. Exhibit professional communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and clinical staff. Assist with non-clinical patient support tasks, such as preparing patients for sessions and facilitating smooth transitions between activities. Identify common physical therapy equipment and describe its general purpose. Observe therapeutic interventions and the roles of physical therapists in patient care. Show increased confidence working in a healthcare environment and understanding the expectations within a clinical team setting.

Infection Control & Hygiene: Follow all handwashing protocols and properly clean and disinfect equipment and treatment areas. Patient Privacy (HIPAA): Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information. Scope of Role: Only perform non-clinical tasks as directed. Equipment Safety: Use therapy equipment only as instructed. Hazard Awareness: Keep walkways clear of cords, equipment, and spills to prevent trips and falls. Body Mechanics: Use proper lifting and movement techniques when handling equipment to prevent personal injury.
