FPCIW InternAt — Front Porch
FPCIW works collaboratively with residents, staff, researchers, funders, and technology partners to design, test, and implement programs that address real-world aging and caregiving challenges. The FPCIW student intern supports our diverse portfolio of projects through outreach, training support, project development, data collection, and administrative tasks. Volunteers gain hands-on exposure to applied research, community engagement, and innovation in a professional nonprofit setting, under close supervision by FPCIW and community staff.
1.) How to engage with older adults in the adoption of technology; 2.) The importance of assessing community needs; 3.) The development of survey tools, data collection and analysis, and drafting summary reports; 4.) Drafting presentations in the delivery of findings; and 5.) How to research solutions in meeting older adult and their caregivers' needs.
Students will receive onboarding materials and orientation to Front Porch and its communities.
Students will undergo office orientation that will cover basic office safety procedures, and trainings on HIPPA compliance.
A resume, reference check, and interview will be required.
