InternAt — Cinergy Financial
The Cinergy Financial internship provides students with hands-on experience in a professional financial services environment. Interns will gain exposure to daily office operations, client service, financial planning processes, administrative support, and the systems used to manage client accounts and information. Students will assist with appropriate projects, observe experienced professionals, and develop practical workplace skills while learning how a financial services firm supports its clients.
Students will have developed a better understanding of the financial services industry and how a financial advisory office operates. They will gain experience with professional communication, organization, client service, data entry, document preparation, and general office procedures. Students will also strengthen their time-management, teamwork, problem-solving, and workplace professionalism skills.
On-Site Training
This opportunity takes place in a professional office environment with minimal safety risks. Students will receive an orientation on office procedures, workplace expectations, emergency protocols, and confidentiality requirements. Students will be supervised by Cinergy Financial staff and will not be asked to perform hazardous tasks. Proper workstation setup, general office safety, and protection of confidential client information will be emphasized throughout the internship.
