Opportunity Summary 

Students will gain exposure to the administrative, client service, marketing, and operational functions that support a successful real estate brokerage. Working alongside experienced managers and real estate professionals, students will develop practical workplace skills through hands-on training, job shadowing, and day-to-day responsibilities. They will have the opportunity to interact with clients, visitors, agents, vendors, and building management while learning how a busy professional office operates.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the completion of the program, students will have developed: Professional communication and customer service skills through interacting with clients, visitors, agents, and vendors. Strong organizational and time-management skills by managing multiple administrative tasks and office priorities. Experience operating in a professional office and commercial real estate environment. Knowledge of front desk operations, including answering and routing calls, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and welcoming visitors. Experience coordinating office operations, including supplies, deliveries, building management requests, and vendor communication. Basic knowledge of commercial real estate research and data entry, including researching property information and entering data into Salesforce. Experience using professional workplace technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Canva, and other business software. An understanding of social media and digital content creation for a professional business.

Opportunity Training 

The student will receive comprehensive hands-on training throughout the onboarding process. During the first week, they will work closely alongside a manager and receive continuous guidance throughout the day while shadowing daily responsibilities and workflows. They will also be provided with training handbooks and other reference materials to support their learning. As training progresses, the student will gradually take on responsibilities independently while continuing to receive supervision, feedback, and support from management.
