International Financial Services and Wealth PlanningAt — The Pacific Bridge Companies
The Pacific Bridge Companies is an international financial services organization based in Monrovia, California. We support financial advisors and their clients in complex situations where assets, tax obligations, and legal relationships extend across borders. Our work involves coordination among professionals in insurance, investments, banking, tax, and law. Our culture is guided by Aloha: love and care and Pono: doing the right things for the right reasons. The Fall 2026 internship is an eleven-week program for students interested in international finance, wealth planning, or financial services operations. Interns are assigned to educational projects and work alongside experienced professionals and project mentors.
Previous interns have contributed to projects involving international advisor networks, cross-border business models, private placement life insurance and variable annuities, and related financial planning strategies. Many have used this experience to secure additional internships or begin careers with leading firms in investment management, insurance, tax, and consulting. Others have transitioned into full-time roles with The Pacific Bridge Companies or its affiliated organizations.
Students will receive structured onboarding and ongoing training throughout the internship. Training includes an introduction to TPBC, the financial services industry, compliance and confidentiality requirements, internal systems, standard operating procedures, and project-specific tools and processes. Interns will also participate in team meetings, staff training sessions, and job-shadowing opportunities with employees across multiple departments. Each student will have assigned supervision, clear project instructions, examples of prior work, and regular feedback to help build practical skills while completing research, marketing, operations, data analysis, and business development projects.
This is a professional office-based internship with no unusual physical safety risks. Students will receive training on workplace safety, emergency procedures, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and the proper handling of sensitive business and client information. Interns will work under staff supervision and will not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice to clients. Any access to systems or information will be limited to what is appropriate for their assigned responsibilities and consistent with TPBC policies and applicable privacy and compliance requirements.
