Lopez Urban Farm is a 3-acre plot of land owned by the Pomona Unified School District and operated by Community Partners 4 Innovation and residents in the surrounding area. We offer a wide varitey of programs at no cost; as well as, an array of organic, locally-grown Fruits and Vegetables. Lopez Farm also hosts the Evergreen Equal Access Market, which offers USDA approved foods and the Bodega Communitaria de Pomona, a food pantry that offers canned goods, clothing, hygeine products and harm reduction materials. All community members are welcome.

In 1982, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors consolidated 3 entities – the Housing Authority, the Community Development Department, and the Redevelopment Agency to form the Community Development Commission. In 2019, the agency was officially rebranded as the LACDA. The LACDA is part of the County family, but not a County Department.
