Opportunity Summary 

The Basic Needs Program exists to provide support to students experiencing a basic necessity insecurity. These efforts are in support of the CSU Chancellor’s office Basic Needs Initiative. The program addresses food, housing, and financial security assistance. Our strategy focuses on short-term mediation while we work with students to find long-term solutions.

The program is also interested in working directly with faculty to create service-learning projects that support course outcomes.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes
