Opportunity Summary
Drug and alcohol prevention through video production, social media campaign development and implementation, spokespersons opportunities, social change theatre, journalistic writing, peer surveys and community assessments, youth development.
BRITE is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Students will learn how to work with a non-profit agency on planning and implementing media strategies.
Students will also learn about the mission, services, and population this organization serves and the issues that impact this population.
Opportunity Training
Orientation meeting. Coordination with and support from the BRITE Media Team.
