Service Learning OpportunitiesAt — Social Justice Fund for Ventura County
At the Social Justice Fund for Ventura County, we support a cohort of Fellows each year as they engage in grassroots work in our local communities. Students can help support the work of our Fellows, interview the Fellows, take photos, or assist the Program Manager with aspects of their job in maintaining and building the Fellowship program.
The Social Justice Fund for Ventura County is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.
By the end of this opportunity, students will have engaged with local social justice efforts in Ventura County.
No training will be provided to students, but students will be invited to join any of the trainings that are held for our Fellows.
Since all Fellowship projects are different for each cohort, safety information cannot be known at this time. That being said, students will never be asked to engage in anything that is unsafe.
