Students will work to maintain and improve public trails and collaborate with other public land use agencies in the area.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Trail maintenance, safety and leadership skills. Knowledge of the flora and fauna in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Opportunity Training
Leave no Trace Ethics, Trail work skills, Trails assessment, Flora and fauna in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Additional risk specific to this opportunity
Students will receive specific safety and hazards training at the initial training and will be reinforced ant each outing.
