Service Learning OpportunitiesAt — Unity Theatre Collective
Tj has created a very exciting concept for a non-cisgendered and primarily BIPOC casting of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which we plan to produce in 2022. The nature of TJ's concept, including using this show as a tool for outreach to our LGBTQIA+ community, would potentially allow them to incorporate this production into their Capstone, and we would like to be able to partner with the university to aid in that possibility for them.
Multiple skills associated with the production of a live show, including, but not limited to: acting, directing, costume & set design, stage management, scheduling, booking, lighting design and operation, sound design and operation, promotion, budgeting, etc.
No formal training will be provided. Rather, we will supervise and work hand-in-hand with the student(s) to develop and bring to fruition their production concept.
Student(s) will always be working under the supervision of experienced and professional producers within the company.
