Our organization focuses on 4 main projects... Lifelong Creativity; Technology for Communication; Intergenerational Learning; and Research & Advocacy.
As a start-up nonprofit organization, students will have an opportunity to help our nonprofit with marketing, grant writing, and fundraising. Initially. students would be contributors to our Research & Advocacy project where the focus would be on addressing social isolation through innovative activities that enhance communication skills in older adults. Students would also assist with writing the literature review as well as analyzing data. Later, students would have an opportunity to help facilitate and train older adults in our workshops on technology. This would involve learning strategies and methods for effective communication with older individuals.
Marketing and communication strategies that support successful business outcomes, as well as leadership skills.
Training would be available once a week or as needed. Training would be interactive in meet ups on Zoom.
Confidentiality of both students and clients will be honored. Release agreements for photos and/or videos will be in place.
