Service Learning OpportunitiesAt — Ascension Lutheran School
Our service-learning opportunities will connect students with the Day School, our TK-8 school with approximately 185 students, and the ECC, which hosts approximately 190 students from infancy to 4 years old. Our purpose is to raise really good human beings in a Christian community that is welcoming and Christ-centered with a nature explore focus.

We're looking for a reliable service-learning student to support our marketing and communication strategies by working with the school's marketing team to create a post 1-3 times a week on our social media sites. This could include coming on campus to take video footage or photos. You will use Ascension's Canva account which has existing templates with flexibility for you to create new templates aligned with our brand to use for social posts. We would love for you to be part of our marketing brainstorm sessions supporting growth and retention of our student population as well.

How to interact with students of different ages, how to maintain a school campus, collegiality and social relationships with professionals with advanced degrees in the field of ministry and education, timeliness, and general courtesy and professionalism as they are associated with customer relations
Basic onboarding and familiarity with handbooks, policies, procedures, "One Ascension" culture
Basic physical activity and light lifting are required. Lots of walking and time outside
