What to Expect You’ll join the training staff in the outdoor community runs each morning. We focus on helping the dogs stay calm and quiet using positive reinforcement. Once the dogs are settled, we place them on tie-downs while we do a quick rinse of the outdoor runs. After that, the dogs get some free-run time. Volunteer Responsibilities 1. Participate in community run time 2. Pick up any fecal matter in the run 3. Gather toys at the end of community run 4. Help keep the dogs quiet while trainers load them 5. You may also have opportunities to help load dogs into the trainer vans 6. Assist with feeding the dogs
Students will learn how to use positive reinforcement with our dogs to keep them calm and quiet. They will also learn the day to day operations of getting the dogs prepared to go out for training. Learn communication with not only humans but with dogs. Read dog body language.

All students will have to attend our Volunteer Orientations and sign on paperwork
