Opportunity Summary 

Our mission is to provide high- quality skilled nursing services through a person centered care approach with a dynamic organization adaptive to changes and innovations.

Support social services at a skilled nursing home with an internship as a Social Services Assistant. 

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Site's primary focus is Seniors with a general focus on Health and Medicine. Interns will have the opportunity to learn:

  • medical terminology                               
  • professional communication with patients and medical staff    
  • aspects of social services
  • medical administrative  responsiblitlies

 

Opportunity Training 

Training will be provided on site.

Opportunity Application Instructions 
  • Work through CSULB HCA Placement 
  • Provide resume and follow interviewing processes
  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
