A great opportunity to learn Executive Leadership and tasks for future roles in Health Care Administration. By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned:

Administrative tasks and regulations for future roles within Healthcare Administration including and not limited to:

  • Administer, conduct, or oversee an assessment process
  • Assist a professional
  • Create curriculum, lesson plans, and/or activities (including physical or hands-on activities)
  • Observe a professional and/or client
  • Participate in and/or lead outreach efforts
  • Plan, organize, or lead an event, program, or community project
  • Prepare and/or serve food
  • Received Direct Supervision
  • Serve in a customer service/concierge role
  • Shadow a professional
  • Support or assist with an event, program, or community project
Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Intern(s) willb e supervised more than 50% of the time and have daily contact with the preceptor. Interns will be expected to meet site and CSULB HCA course requirments. 

Opportunity Training 

Training will be provided on site.
