The service-learning students will learn to have a global perspective towards international supply chains, and possible human rights abuses in those countries and industries. They will also learn ethical solutions to the exposed abuses against certain populations. The focus of the service hours will provide solutions to those abuses through dignified trade and fair business partnerships.
By the end of the opportunity, the students will learn to critically think, with a worldview, towards a more ethical solution to inequity and imbalances in the global trade industries.
The service hour students will learn to critically think through a global lens of humanity and equity of all populations.
The nature of the opportunity is to expose students to current world issues, and how an ethical and socially conscious movement can lead to a world with less exploitation and oppression of certain segments of society.
On site training will be provided by the operations coordinator
