The student will have the opportunity to facilitate national and regional curriculum for participants in kindergarten through third grade. The student will develop skills using virtual platforms such as Zoom and Canvas, and will include skills in curriculum development and lesson planning, classroom management, participant engagement, critical thinking, problem-solving, verbal and written communication. Skills will be developed by working directly with program staff and participants.
All interns must complete orientation training, child abuse awareness training, onboarding training, and possibly additional training based on the interns program of choice.
