4th Street ProductionAt — 4th Street Production
Students will learn the behind the scenes of what it takes to make a film/commercial. There are a lot of things that go into it, from research, pre-production, production, and post. The majority of our student interns have learned what it takes to get a client from start to finish. We also have a number of opportunities to work on set as a production assistant, grip/gaffer, and even BTS photographer.
Students will learn valuable skills from working on set to being in the office and research. While in the office, students will learn the role of a producer and office assistant, from how to find leads, work on researching important information, and helping to keep things organized. While on set, students will learn how to adapt to any set they are on, big or small. They will work with equipment, other professionals, and assist in different ways on set. This will be a valuable skill for students to learn because this is real on set experience that they can take to any set they are a part of.
We will provide an in depth meeting that will ensure quality results. The intern coordinator usually has bi-weekly check ins in order to make sure interns are up to date and if they have any questions, that they can be answered. Whatever project they are working on, they will be provided a mastersheet to help them organize their tasks and give them a step by step plan of how to execute said task.
Masks are always recommended on set, as well as vaccinations. Cleaning is also a top priority.
