Young Community Planners of Long BeachAt — Long Beach Community Design Center

A youth urban planning and design engagement program to introduce high school students from underserved areas to urban planning and design through a civic engagement project. High school students identify a problem, issue, or concern that exists in their community and analyze its dimensions (i.e., socio-economic, environmental, historical, etc.) and propose potential solutions through the lens of an urban planner and designer. Interns will assist with set up and coordination of workshops and activities.
