Community Health and Analysis AssistantAt — American Gold Star Manor

Opportunity Summary 

This opportunity will focus on community health outreach, health related special events, and service analysis. The major projects will include outreach and networking with local health care providers, arranging a health service fair for 350+ residents, and analyzing data to create a monthly report to be reviewed by the Board of Directors.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn to network/market an organization to the community with intention of collaborations and marketing. Students will gain a general understanding of analyzing data presented in Excel format in order to gauge trends in participation, health related needs, and finances.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive training by ADP (provided by the Manor) to provide excel, grant writing, and analysis training. Student will also receive orientation by supervisor
