Opportunity Summary 

At our medical office, there is a lot of patient interaction, including: answering incoming phone calls (educating patient on care or providing information), insurance verification and authorization (patients may need to be referred and given additional instructions/information), checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments/follow-ups for patients, and greeting patients.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

How to provide care to the general public, educate individuals within the healthcare field regarding quality of life, problem solving skills, and healthcare education.

Opportunity Training 

From the first day, students will be personally trained by the supervisor. Students will be walked through each step of greeting patients, bringing them in, answering phone calls, making phone calls, providing care based on the doctor's recommendation, and speaking with patients on health education.
