Want to work directly with the community and help transform the lives of others? Come work with us at Christian Outreach in Action as we assist and support the homeless and impoverished communities of Long Beach.

We work directly with the community so all opportunities are on site and in person.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have gained and understanding of the challenges facing our fellow humans and developed the skills and empathy necessary for making a difference.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

We work with the homeless and that population often has experience with mental illness, drug use, and/or criminal behavior. Given the population we work with, we take reasonable safety precautions.
