Opportunity Summary 

As a Friendly Visitor volunteer with Premium Hospice you will be assigned 1 terminally ill patient to visit at the persons home ( skilled nursing facilities, board and care or private residence) at least 1 time a month for at least 6 months. Hospice volunteer will complete several hours of training; independently , virtually and in person. Hospice volunteer will be responsible for competing clinical notes in the patients medical record and submitting documentation as required by all hospice care team staff.

The goals and philosophy of hospice care, proper clinical documenting and a deeper understanding of how to care and support our aging community.

Opportunity Training 

Very specific training that is split into 3 sections - independent, virtual and in person. About 6-8 hrs of training total. 

Majority of training is virtual, but visits are completed face to face with their assigned patient
