Overview

Clinica Medica Hispana Medical Corp. was created in January 1994. The impetus for founding the clinic was our belief in the importance of providing quality medical care to low-income families. One of the paramount services that must be given to affirm people’s dignity is health care. If we, as a community, do not value a person’s health, what message are we sending that person about how much we value him or her? As a result, from the inception, Clinica Medica Hispana Medical Corp. has aimed to provide effective, high-quality preventative and treatment-based medicine.

Our Mission

Clinica Medica Hispana Medical Corp.'s primary goal is to ensure our patients' inalienable right to receive healthcare despite their income level. We believe in human dignity, promoting social justice, and providing medical and health services to a low-income clientele.

As a Los Angeles Unified public elementary school site, we strive to give opportunity and a developed education for those students we serve. Public school systems are underfunded and understaffed and we strive to utilize every aspect in our ability so our students are given every chance at a quality education.

Founded in 2000, CNS has grown to become one of the largest clinical research providers in the country, and the largest in Southern California. CNS operates three outpatient clinics located in Southern California (Garden Grove, Long Beach and Torrance). Additionally, CNS’s Long Beach facility offers a dedicated Phase I Unit and a JCAHO-accredited Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) centrally located in the greater Los Angeles area.

CNS, in partnerships with major pharmaceutical sponsors, conducts clinical trials for new medications and treatments in various therapeutic areas including neurology, psychiatry and general health conditions.

The mission of CNS is to advance medical knowledge through seamless execution of complex clinical trials utilizing our extensive experience, knowledge and capabilities.

Coaching Corps is determined to reach hundreds of thousands of girls and boys in struggling communities with the power of service and sport.

Advocacy Group for the cultural creative businesses in Long Beach that promotes creative, sustainable and holistic practices.

We tell the stories of ancient life and human cultures both to promote appreciation of the past and relevance to the future. Cogstone Resource Management Inc. (Cogstone) specializes in paleontology, archaeology and history, serving both public- and private-sector clients. Cogstone is committed to developing relationships with our clients based on reliable, cost-effective services and excellent work products.

Colectivo Vida Digna is a grassroots indigenous organization located in the western highlands of Guatemala. We work around two central fields: Migration and Mayan Culture. In Youth & Migration we work specifically with unaccompanied youth returning to Guatemala in their reintegration through education, work skills and matters of access. At the Cultural Observatory we work around decolonialization and supporting indigenous peoples’ expression and practice.

Colette’s Children’s Home exists to heal homelessness for women and children who are homeless with nowhere to turn. Since 1998, we have provided more than 5,900 homeless women and children with a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency.
