We include homeowners, renters, businesses, nonprofits, schools and others from all parts of California and walks of life. South Asian Network (SAN) is a community based organization advancing the health, emotional and mental well-being, and civil rights of South Asians in Southern California. Given the multiple identities of gender, sexuality, class, religion, ethnicity and language in the diverse South Asian communities, SAN commits to challenging multiple oppressions through its efforts.

South Central LAMPês mission is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment for economically poor women and their families. SSC is on a mission to empower transition-age individuals with disabilities and foster youth, ages 18-22, to discover and actively engage in Long Beach's local food system so that they may acquire the necessary job-readiness skills that will enable them to secure paid employment positions within the food system. We have been in operation at our site in DTLB for over a year.
