UCLA Center for Health Policy
10960 Wilshire Blvd Suite 1550, Los Angeles, 90024
Nearly 30 years after its founding, the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research continues to pioneer ways to put objective data and evidence-based research into the hands of people who need it: community organizations and advocates committed to making a difference in their communities; policymakers working to create practical, effective laws and policies grounded in fact; and people across the state of California and the nation fighting for health care access and health equity.
Whether through our nationally-recognized California Health Interview Survey (CHIS), a unique source of information on all Californians including often-overlooked racial, ethnic, and sexual minority groups, or through our rapid-response policy analysis, timely and readable publications, and user-friendly web tools, the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research will continue to develop and provide our evidence toolbox of data, dashboards and insights, delivering on our core mission: to improve the public’s health through high-quality, objective, and evidence-based research and data that informs effective policymaking.

Unlimited Possibilities
1251 E Dyer Road, Suite 150, Santa Ana, 92705
About us
Founded in 1953, UCP-OC was originally established as United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County to assist people of all ages affected by cerebral palsy. Over our 60+ years of service, however, we have observed great demand for services for children with disabilities. In response, we have streamlined our focus to children while broadening the programs offered, as well as the range of disabilities served to include autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental delays. In order to help every child reach their full potential, our services are highly individualized, from simple delays to complicated lifetime conditions. Because of this wider range of children and families we now serve, today we go by the name of UCP of Orange County (and UCP-OC for short). UCP-OC now provides specialized care for more than 5,300 children and families each year. We are one of the only organizations in Orange County delivering comprehensive support for children with disabilities and their families. As such, our services are critical to closing developmental gaps and empowering families to care for their child’s special needs.
