Wilmington Community Clinic has been built in the community to provide medical and health-related services to each and every person who needs them. The office is always looking for better ways to serve the residents, families, and children who come into the office looking for care. Occasionally, the clinic offers the only option in the area. However, the clinic also looks for other existing facilities and avenues which can help people thus achieving the practices healthcare mission. Wilmington Community Clinic welcomes and provides services to people of all races, religions, genders, beliefs, sexual orientations, or nations of origin regardless of their financial situation or insurance.
The clinic was created in 1977 to treat a critical need for both child and women’s healthcare services in the Wilmington area. Over the years, the demand for care has only grown. The practice has grown as well, adding and expanding the number of patients which can be seen each year by practically 500%. A majority of the Wilmington Community Clinic staff are from the community and have worked with the practice for more than five years, providing services to the families living in the surrounding areas from two locations.
Wilmington Community Clinic welcomes all new patients, young and old, to the practice. The clinic also accepts most major forms of medical insurance.
