Remote opportunity: AbilityFirst Volunteer/InternAt — AbilityFirst - Long Beach
AbilityFirst is committed to continue to provide meaningful engagements to the participants in our programs. These will be delivered via phone calls, video calls, and Zoom sessions. Volunteers/Interns will work directly with staff to facilitate activities that will increase socialization, communication, and independent/healthy living skills.

how to facilitate activities with individuals with developmental disabilities. They will also learn how to adapt activities to individuals with varying levels of need. They will also learn how to work as part of a virtual team.
Students will be given an orientation and learn on the job.
Students will complete everything remotely. No contact with staff or clients will be made.
