Hospice volunteers needed for creating greeting cards or making friendly phone calls to hospice patients.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Hospice philosophy, the importance of end of life care for patient's and their families. Students will learn about terminal diagnosis, Alzheimer/ Dementia care and how to complete clinical documenting.
Opportunity Training
2-4 hours of reading via training modules at their own pace. Once completed, 4 hours of "in-person" training via video conference.

All opportunities are virtual and do not require students to be face to face with patients at this time.
