Opportunity Summary 

This class would be instructed by the Executive Director of the Teachers Association of Long Beach (TALB), Chris Callopy. California Credential # 180109179 Students will meet at the Teachers Association office, located in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach. A history of unionism will be presented to students with an emphasis on educators being an integral part of the labor movement. In addition students will be engaged on current issues facing education and labor. Students will be offered field experience in local elections. Field experience may include making phone calls to voters and or walking door to door to engage voters.
