As active members of the Family Services team, interns acquire hands-on experience in various important elements of nonprofit work. Interns will gain experience through exposure to a range of social services and education projects that may be tailored to their own interest. Interns will also have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, became familiar with local community resources, participate in collaborative event projects, attend community committee meetings, and participate in the family services monitoring process.

 

The MCOE Head Start Family Engagement service area seeks candidates who are eager to learn more about family engagement, early childhood education and advocacy, and that are interested in partnering with the community. We are seeking strategic thinkers with intellectual curiosity, and a firm commitment to vulnerable children and families.
