Food Distribution/Pantry VolunteerAt — St. Joseph's Family Center

Opportunity Summary

We operate a drive-thru food distribution every Tuesday (7:45am-2:30pm), Wednesday (7:45am-noon) and Thursday (7:45am - 2:30pm). We serve approximately 2000 families each week.

We also distribute approximately 100-125 bagged lunches daily to our homeless population.

The work is conducted completely out of doors and is a bit physical, requiring standing, bending, lifting of up to 25-30 lbs, and loading into vehicles. The shifts can be broken into 2 each day (7:45am - 11am, 11am - 2:30pm) or all day shifts can be arranged (7:45am - 2:30pm).

Produce and dry food preparation days are Mondays (8am - noon), Wednesdays (11am- 2:30pm), and Fridays (8am - noon). We prepare family sized bags of both produce and dry foods for future distributions in our warehouse.
