Community Programs LeaderAt — Habitat Stewardship Project Monterey Bay (HSP) (Formerly RON, Return of the Natives)

Opportunity Summary 

Students will work weekend events for Habitat Stewardship Project Monterey Bay, engaging with community members with environmental restoration activities. Students will be able to demonstrate tasks, answer questions, and help keep our event materials organized and clean. Students will also participate in educational activities with the public.

Must commit to at least 5 weekends.

Additional hours may be available in the on-campus Greenhouse.

8 service learner spots

Vaccinations required.

A vehicle is necessary to get from HSP's offices to/from weekend event sites.

Opportunity Training 

Students will be oriented by HSPMB staff before their first event.  Laura Lee Lienk will check-in with students and be available to answer any questions.
