Assistant CoachAt — Boxing Strong
Assist the coach in leading the classes for adults, kids, active agers, or kids with disabilities. Assistant coaches will:
- show exercises, stretches and explain the drills.
- actively engage with the class and create experiences/lesson plans and agility games.
- prepping the room for and after the class - setting up and putting away equipment, cleaning the bags and white boards, taking stock of inventory, etc.
The Assistant Coach may be asked to do a class independently.
Business aspects of teaching the classes will be added to deepen one's understanding of working in the sports/physical fitness industry, such as calling members to follow up on their class or private training experience, asking members to fill out liability forms, checking in attendance, sending emails with the class summary, etc.
