Meal Services- hospitalityAt — Dorothy's Place - Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra
Dorothy's Kitchen is a full-service commercial kitchen that serves meals from fresh ingredients to the underserved, unsheltered community. Our volunteers are an integral part of the meal services that Dorothy's Kitchen provides.
Help us by offering a welcoming and comfortable dining service. Help Dorothy's Kitchen continue to be place of kindness and acceptance by greeting our guests and inviting them to sit in the patio area to enjoy a nutritious meal.

When in Chinatown, service learning students will encounter many types of people, including City staff, community service workers, police, homeless people and families, and at-risk persons. Students are instructed to be polite and respectful to all persons in the neighborhood. Do not take photographs, since some people living on the streets may feel it is very intrusive.
Please call or text Julieta Borges, Program Director, from 7:00am-2:30pm at 831-276-5123, to share your interest in the opportunity.
