Opportunity Summary 

Service learners at the Salinas Community Science Workshop will engage with middle school youth to build and tinker a variety of projects using hand tools, some power tools, and a variety of building materials. Projects in the past have included anywhere between scooters, rockets, shelves, knitting, beadwork, and more.

Individuals interested in pusing non-traditional science education or experiential learning with youth development are strongly encouraged to apply.

We will orient students to our expectations and requirements for supervision.  

We will always be present to support students in any situation.
