Opportunity Summary 

Visit and observe an ongoing weekly Ventana Wildlife Society (VWS) nature class to assist instructors in teaching students, while assessing the curriculum for opportunities to include climate change education. Develop program activities and/or prepare and present mini staff development activities for our regular education team staff meetings that focus on climate change education.

 

Opportunity Training 

Service learners will complete an agency & program orientation & will receive project specific training – including a job shadowing & observation period.

Students will be invited to staff meetings, and will also have scheduled time with a project leader
to receive guidance and feedback.
