Sexual Assault AdvocateAt — Monterey County Rape Crisis Center

Opportunity Summary 

Becoming a Sexual Assault Advocate with the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center allows our Advocates to volunteer on our Sexual Assault Helpline, attend SAFE with survivors of sexual assault, and assist in community events spreading awareness.

5 service learner spots

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
Opportunity Training 

Students will receive training in Crisis Intervention, Mandated Reporting, Mental Health Rehabilitation Skills.

Supervision will be done via continuing education meetings and 1 on 1 sessions.
