Students would assist in helping Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP). This would include helping at our office, events, Treasure Shop, laundry, and with outreach. To see our full list of opportunities and select which you are interested in please visit the Google form linked below.
Set dates needed: We are looking for 1-2 service learners each week day at the office and 2 per weekend for event help.
Students would need to be comfortable being around cats and dogs, talking to people and being able to lift and move things around.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Have reliable transportation to and from Pacific Grove and other locations for events in Monterey County.
Orientation at the office with training and onboarding during the first day.
Once a week the student will meet with the site supervisor at the office in Pacific Grove, this will be a weekly check in where they are able to get the fliers and supplies needed along with ensuring they are supported. We do have a desktop computer available for the student to use.
