Photography Class Assistants @ MPUSD schoolsAt — The Weston Collective
Students will have first hand experience working with youth artists as they develop their artistic skills through photography at The Weston Collective. Service Learning Students will assist in both digital and darkroom photography depending on what help is needed day to day. We have a fully functional darkroom and developing room as well as a computer lab and set of digital cameras. Learn more about us at: https://www.thewestoncollective.org/
After school program:
Mondays 2:30-4:30p,
Wednesdays 1:00-3:00p
In-Class Elective:
Fridays 1:20-2:20p

- Dual Language Academy (DLAMP), Seaside, CA

Requirements:
- Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
- Driver's License
- Must be 18 or older
- TB Test
- Vaccinations

*** MUST ATTEND AN MPUSD ORIENTATION ***
The organization will provide any and all training required for students to know how to use digital cameras, editing software, darkroom techniques, etc. A training day will be scheduled prior to the start of their service learning.
Weekly check-ins with the service learning students to be sure they are happy with their roles, if they want to expand on their duties, and/or if they need additional training assistance.
Every need service learning student will be briefed on the safety protocols of the program. We are partnered with a school so all safety goes through the school organization.
